Well, I have been planning something really special for the club now for about 3 weeks and I have put a lot of time and effort into making sure that it will be something that not all of us have experienced before, but will absolutely be memorable.
2008 Projekt Kleen "Dam Touge Run"
Details
Date: Saturday May 24th 2008
Location: Saville Dam/Canyon in CT
Time: 8am SHARP @ our meeting location (DO NOT BE LATE)
What It Is: This is a traditional "Touge" based on the infamous Tail of the Dragon canyon runs. This entails "spirited" driving through canyon roads and extremely twisty turns, accompanied by beautiful scenery, incredible sights and a picnic lunch with many many photo opportunities throughout!
What To Bring: A cooler with picnic lunch items (sandwichs, drinks, soda, chips, etc), a blanket to eat on, bug spray or a candle (bring a lighter), walkie talkies, gas money and your cameras
The "Dam Touge 2008" will start in a location in Southwick, Mass where we will be traveling to once we leave our lot @ 8am SHARP. The rest of the details are as follows. I have specifically mapped it out so that the majority of the turns are right hand turns for convenience and being able to keep the team together throughout the Touge.
